Como coach Cesc Fabregas is reportedly confident ahead of his team’s Champions League showdown with Manchester United, with the Spanish tactician determined to prove that his side can compete against one of Europe’s most recognised football clubs.
Como are preparing for a major European test against Manchester United on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. The fixture promises to attract attention from football supporters, with both teams expected to approach the contest with ambition and a desire to make a statement.
Fabregas is building his reputation as a coach who values possession, intelligent movement and attacking football. Facing a club with Manchester United’s history and resources would represent a significant challenge, but the former Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea midfielder understands that football matches are decided on the pitch rather than by reputation alone.
